Worth the Read {volume 1}

I come across many articles and posts that I share on Facebook and Twitter throughout the week. I thought I would compile a weekly list here as well.

  • As the mama to three boys {and one girl} I loved Shaun Groves’ post at The Simple Mom entitled, Parenting a boy, not a herd.  One on one time with our kids is something the hubby and I have always prioritized.
  • I read the book, Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys over a year ago and loved it.  Now, the MOB Society is featuring it as their latest book club selection.
  • I’m Still Not Brave by my friend, Kristen at We are THAT Family touched my heart.  She is a real life hero to me and I admire her transparency as she follows hard after God.
  • We have been packing OCC shoeboxes for years. I never get tired of hearing how God uses such a little gift to reach hearts for Him and the story Stacey shares is no exception.
  • Hospitality Always Wins. Yes, this.  Embrace the imperfect and love on others. I needed this reminder since my house is a mess and I’m hosting an in(RL) meet up at my home in two weeks!
  • Cutting through the clutter of life is my tagline and this post by Julie at Come Have a Peace is all about organizing small spaces on a budget.  Great tips!
  • I love this question: What Would Jesus…Blog?  And, I love Jamie’s answer.
  • Last but not least, this post by Beth Moore in the wake of Rick Warren’s son committing suicide was a convicting and emotional MUST read.

What have you read worth sharing on the web this week?
