Mamavation Monday

Last week, I had my friend Katie guest post about her campaign to be one of the mamavation moms and I am happy to report that she won!!!!! Congrats to her.  She really put in a lot of time and effort and I am very proud of her.

But, back to my weight loss/get healthier journey:

I have lost 2.6 lbs in the last week!

I have walked everyday (even in the rain, I have a pretty umbrella)

I am drinking water like it is fine wine!

What I want to add this week:

Add in a workout video at least twice a week (and do workout video when children are not home so that I do not get made fun of during double time on Tae Bo) I’m sensitive (ha!)

Think I can do it?  We shall see!

  1. O'kay I am going to have to think about my water as a fine wine. Then maybe I will be able to drink it more! LOL. Great job on your weight loss. You are doing a great job!!

Good luck! I used to hate exercising with others around…now I make them do it with me!

    • Yes, but teen boys are so not into complimenting 😉

ahh that is why I love using the Wii to exercise…I get those involved in with it! I dont have teen boys but love kicking my teen stepdaughters butts doing crunches…they are skinny and think they can beat me…but this overweight stepmom can actually outdo them on the exergames! Do you have a wii? I could see using some boxing or sports games or the easports active with the boys would be a great way to get the whole family exercising.

Hahahahaha. You can do it! I can totally relate to the getting picked on part though. My daughter's fave pasttime is to tape us trying to hula hoop on the wii fit while laughing her tail off the whole time.

  6. You're doing great. LOL you and I both..sensitive to having an audience, afraid that they will shred ya to pieces on what you're doing. Looking forward to your next week post.

  7. Yes you can do it! Are you kidding? Great steps so far…keep it going!

  8. Great job this week!!! I really enjoy walking too, but since I am usually pushing the toddler in the stroller, I don't walk in the rain. If it were just me, heck yeah, I'd love that!

Great goals for this week! You can do it!!

  9. 2.6, walking and hydration! Woohoo, keep it simple, keep it awesome. Also, your girl Katie is amazing. I love her to pieces and any friend of hers has to be a person worth supporting.
