Not Me Monday

You have to join us in the fun over at MckMama’s blog where we all get to participate in a free therapy session by confessing all those things that didn’t happen during your week but if they had it would have been bad (look at my rhyming self this morning, must be the pain meds)
So, here we go with the things I so did not do this week:

~I did not call the phlebotomist a nasty name after she couldn’t get my blood drawn after the third try. I did not demand she get away from me and have someone else try. I did not ruin any future chances of sharing God’s love with this girl because of her ineptitude and my reaction to it, nope- not me.

~I did not ignore the pain in my back until it was sending pains down my leg and I could hardly move before I went to the doctor. I know better than that and, contrary to my husband’s opinion, I am not stubborn.

~I did not reply “really?” with a very incredulous voice when Matt’s homeroom teacher called to say he had been chosen for the Patriot Award(meaning that he has been responsible, helpful, considerate and studious in the last marking period). I had not picked up the phone thinking she was going to tell me something he had done to get in trouble- I have faith in my children.

~I did not snap at my hubby and kids, for no other reason than I am grumpy and in pain. I love them too much to do that and it would not be fair.

Do you have anything that you did not do to confess this week? Join us in this weekly meme at MckMama’s blog.

Oh, how funny! Of course you weren’t surprised by how much different your son might behave at school – I certainly was NOT shocked to find that my son is quiet in preschool! Right. I’ll have to try this Not Me Monday out next week!

Thanks for visiting my blog the other day and for the lovely comment you left.

BTW, I didn’t make the fondant. I bought it and then made the ribbon myself. You better post what you bake : )

Plus, don’t feel bad, everytime I attempt to make biscuits, they turn out like ROCKS-LOL! My hubby says, OH NO you made rock biscuits!
